Phyllis June Angelo, 83, formerly of Morrisonville, IL, passed away at 8:35 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2019 in Longwood, FL at her residence.
Phyllis was born July 15, 1935 the daughter of Clarence N. and Amy Alice (Jenkins) Smith. She married Vincent Angelo in Orlando, FL, and he preceded her in death.
Phyllis graduated from Morrisonville High School with the class of 1953. She went on to be a bookkeeper for many businesses in the Orlando, FL area. Phyllis also had her own in-home tax preparation business in Florida that she operated for many years. She enjoyed spending her free time in the outdoors, especially bird watching. Phyllis was a life-long Methodist.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Paul W. Smith; sister, Marian A. Keith; and brother-in-law, LaVerne O. Paulson.
Phyllis is survived by her sister, Carrol N. Paulson of Madison, WI; sister-in-law, Alberta Smith of Morrisonville, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside Ceremony: 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Morrisonville Cemetery with Rev. Dayle Badman officiating.
