MORRISONVILLE- Elizabeth Ann Forbes, 81, of Morrisonville, died on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 8:55 A.M. in her residence.
She was born on January 24, 1930 in Pana, Illinois to Clyde A. and Bertha (Watts) Ryan. She married John E. Forbes on January 9, 1949 at Fairview Church. She retired from Morrisonville School District. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Taylorville.
She is survived by her husband, John E. Forbes of Morrisonville; Sons, Charles (friend, Jackie Shimmin) Forbes of Vandalia, Il, Mark (wife, Deb) Forbes of Morrisonville, Il, Bryan (wife, Patti) Forbes of Mahomet, Il; Daughters, Ronda (husband, John) Carl of Glendale Heights, Il, Kathy (husband, Dennis) Beckmier of Humbold, Il; 13 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Catherine Brunner of Anchorage, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Johnny Ray Forbes; Brother, Albert Ryan; Great Granddaughter, Kiley Beckmier.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 28, 2011 from 4:00P.M.-8:00 P.M. in Perfetti Funeral Home, Morrisonville and also Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Grace Baptist Church, Taylorville from 9:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Baptist Church, Taylorville with Pastor Philip Neumann officiating. Burial will be held in Morrisonville Cemetery, Morrisonville.
Memorials may be made to Morrisonville Community Ambulance or Grace Baptist Church, Taylorville.
