Frances (Kristofic) Clotfelter, 98 of Panama passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011 in Georgetown, Texas where she had been living since 2008 with her son Leo Hollon and his wife, Colleen.

Frances was born on January 11, 1913 in Germany. Her parents immigrated to the United States with Frances joining them in 1927. She married Joseph Hollon of Chicago, IL in 1930 and had two sons, Leo and James Hollon.

Her most interesting and challenging life was filled with many friends and loved by all. Over the course of her life's work ranging from candy and model airplane factories during the pre and post World War years, to the glass factory in Hillsboro. She eventually retired in 1978 as a seamstress in Litchfield. Frances started her retirement years with her husband, Wendell Clotfelter in Panama.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Wendell Clotfelter; Son, James Hollon; Siblings John and Rose; Sister, Justine DeRight; Brothers Leopold and Frank Kristofic.

Surviving are her son, Leo (wife, Colleen) Hollon; Daughter-in-laws, Joan Hollon and Loretha Knight; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 11:00AM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Panama. Inurnment will follow in Union Cemetery, Panama. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
