Marlene Sue Gad, 70 of Panama passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 4:05 PM at her home.
She was born September 30, 1940 at Hillsboro the daughter of August and Margaret (Trobaugh) Marak. She married James Gad on December 9, 1961 at Hillsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents; Brother, John Marak; Sisters, Mary Jordan and Margaret Malisia.
Marlene was a homemaker. She was a member of Panama VFW Post 6628 Auxiliary and attended the Panama United Methodist Church.
Survivors: Husband, James "Jim" Gad of Panama, IL; Daughter, Sherri Gad of Panama, IL; Brother Bernard (Daphne) Marak of Panama, IL; Many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 8 at 1:00 PM at the Panama United Methodist Church with Rev. Dave Trover officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Panama. Friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 AM until service time at the Panama United Methodist Church.
Memorials are suggested to Panama United Methodist Church or Juvenile Diabetes Association.
