Melodie Bell Klinefelter, wife of Jimmy Lee Klinefelter, formerly of Taylorville, passed into spirit at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2009, at their residence in New Smyrna Beach, FL.

She was born July 25, 1951, in Springfield, the daughter of Rose Marie Frisina Bell and Robert F. Bell. She attended Taylorville High School. While residing in Torrance, CA, she was a supervisor for the Lynn Carol Agency for the placement of commercial jobs. When employed by TWA Airlines she headed the Trauma Team in New York City and was responsible for the implementation and execution of the chapel for the families of TWA Flight 800. She was also a partner with Bell Entertainment Co. that specialized in moving equipment for trade shows for motion picture exhibitors and musical trade shows all over the United States. She held real estate licenses in both California and Florida. In addition to her love of her family, she had a deep passion for astrology, bridge, dancing and singing in plays and movies. She was a member of the Church of Religious Science.

Surviving are her parents; one daughter, Melissa R. Molden Jump of Lakewood, CA; one son, Steven R. D. Barry of Macomb; three granddaughters: Brianna A. Molden, Jazmin A. Molden, and Cynna A. Molden; and one great-grandson, Jack Molden.

Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7, with Pastor Bob Spurgin officiating.
