Memorial Service

Just like a funeral ceremony, a memorial ceremony is a time to remember and honor your loved one. This can be held shortly after death, or weeks later, with or without an urn present. What’s important is that it creates a time and a place for family and friends to gather together and support one another, share memories, and pay their respects. We can hold a memorial service at our funeral home, any alternate location, even your home.

A casketed burial is a traditional service and there are many options to consider. A visitation, viewing or wake with an open or closed casket preceding the funeral ceremony is a comforting time for families, allowing them an opportunity to make connections with those that care for them and their loved one most. A funeral ceremony at our funeral home or any other location which brings meaning to your loved one's ceremonies can be arranged as well.  Many families find meaning in graveside ceremonies as well.  Any ceremony selected can be open to the public, or private, in accordance with the family's wishes.

Cremation is beneficial for many families because there is more flexibility as to when ceremonies are held. You can have a visitation and funeral ceremony prior to cremation, or a memorial gathering and ceremony at any time with or without the urn present. The family can keep the urn at home, scatter the cremated remains in a meaningful designated area, or have the urn buried in their family cemetery, or inurned in a columbarium. A meaningful ceremony will always be provided whether cremation or burial is selected by your family.
